Climbing Rwenzori For Charity: Rwenzori Mountain Challenge for Conservation

In order to raise money for our cause, Rwenzori Trekking Service Experts is recruiting daredevils to join a four-day trek across the Rwenzori Mountains in Uganda. Rwenzori Trekking Service Experts is supporting local conservation efforts through the Uganda Conservation Foundation, and this experience will include a visit to Queen Elizabeth National Park.

Rwenzori Trekking Service Experts and Different Travel have partnered to provide you an exhilarating new challenge in Africa. You’ll get to witness our work firsthand while also experiencing breathtaking landscapes, exotic animals, and fascinating biodiversity.

A four-day Rwenzori trek through the breathtaking scenery of Southwest Uganda’s Rwenzori Mountains National Park is the test. This location, which is part of the UNESCO World Heritage list, has 54 indigenous species and a high biodiversity. It was formerly thought to be the Nile River’s source. It is also the site of Mount Stanley, the third-highest mountain in Africa, standing at an astonishing 5,109 meters.

Strenuous and not to be underestimated, the four-day walk to Mutinda Lookout, with its breathtaking panoramas from 3,975m, will be well worth the effort. Views of rugged and glaciated mountain peaks, rushing waterfalls, and winding rivers will be yours to enjoy as you learn about the region’s varied flora and animals.

Queen Elizabeth National Park is home to elephants, lions, hippos, buffalo, and huge herds of Ugandan kob; the excursion will conclude with a visit to the park after the trek. Through your fundraising efforts, you will be able to help the Uganda Wildlife Authority’s efforts to safeguard this park. You will also have the opportunity to learn more about the work of the Uganda Conservation Foundation, a local partner of Rwenzori Trekking Services Experts.
